ELMIRA PIONEERS BASEBALL INTERNSHIPS

The Elmira Pioneers, proud members of the New York Collegiate Baseball League anticipate several internship positions available during the spring/summer of 2010.

If you are interested in learning how a "minor league" team operates, this is the internship you are looking for.

During the summer interns become intimately involved in all aspects of the including, on field activities, broadcasting, media relations, ticket and promotional sales, community relations and office management.

Front Office Internships

Each intern will rotate through various facets of the "minor league operation". Spending time in group ticket sales, promotions, special events, corporate advertising sales and community relations where each intern will develop and manage at least one community/promotional event.

IT Internship

The Pioneers are looking for an intern who can manage the team's website. The intern creates new website material, develops new website revenue streams and integrates the team's website with daily baseball activities.

Commitment: May 15, 2010 - August 15, 2010

Each position is designed to provide interested and qualified candidates an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fun, but demanding, working professional baseball environment. The Pioneers internship experience creates an easy transition into the working world of minor league baseball.
